The BlackICE BBS is a Bulletin Board System. In the 90's a BBS was a kind of door to the digital world. By establishing a connection between the user's computer and the BBS computer the BBS provides some services. DoorGames, Downloads, Nets (Message-Networks like FidoNet, UseNet (aka Newsgroups), local Discussionsboards and a lot of other stuff. All what can be realized on a Dataline is possible. A BBS has his own charm. Offside the Internet a BBS can be a calm anchor at the data-intoxication. This means not, that a BBS not rocks!
